Re: Australian Public Transport Cards

Sure, but could you please tell me the name of the card for example: Smart Rider, Go Card, Myki or Opal card. Because each card is slightly different.

Hey Samburner3

What card are you most interested in or are you from because its essayist to only focus on one card for example I focus on the Smart Rider because thats what my state uses. Also I am not to sure about opal's desfire model but myki is just EV1 4k as 0xFFFF said.

IIRC I think I've seen two Opal cards. EV1 and Ultralight C.

Re: Australian Public Transport Cards

Hey 0xFFFF

Would you be able to send some samples of go card and or opal. I am willing to pay for it. I could maybe buy you some activated adult smart riders from trans Perth but they are $10 each because good old trans Perth is over priced. When I get a new contact at monitor I can send you some free thow.

Re: Australian Public Transport Cards

I'd be more than happy to send you cards if I had any.
All of the data I collected was from a friend visited me.

Checking the Opal site, it looks like anyone with a spare $40AUD can get one. Unless I can recover the expense, I'm not that keen on getting one.

Does anyone still have any info on the Opal or MyKi they are willing to share? Headed there in a bit and want to get some background info before I grab some cards and play.
