My PM3 case

Hello community!

I was deciding on what to use for my PM3 as a case for quite a while. Even wanted to use playing cards casewhich is of the same size as the PCB and is easy to open a work on...until...I noticed my my USB hub and reader which was always under my nose:)

So behold my case. I think this is the best case so far on this forum. What do you guys think?

It took me 2 days to make holes for the JTAG, the button and widen the hirose and mini usb openings. I then sealed the multiple card reader holes with plastic pieces and painted the case.

PS> For this threat to be in this index, please explain me how to use the proxspace. I am currentlu using 20081211 firmware and do not have the askdemod and mandemod commands. Please explain how to summon those commands and I'll be very glad!

I am currently using 20081211 firmware and do not have the askdemod and mandemod commands.

Friends, please explain n00bie like me what firm ware has manchester code decipher and how to flash PM3 with it...

Have you tried the newest firmware?

The Linux version is working fine, I am not sure if the source is still broken for windows or working again.

I was able to flash, but I see no proxgui.exe in the winsrc folder. What to do? I am sick of this 20081211 useless version..

And why don't you download latest release and update your proxmark?

For the GUI just try  "prox.exe gui" from an ms-dos window in winsrc folder.

I already downloaded latest release (20090905), but prox gui shuts the ms dos window when PM3 connected

I followed Andreas's link, and followed the procedures, but was unsuccessful.

Would you please write a HOWTO for this question never to be asked again. I mean how easy it was to flash to 20081211..

If I upload my trace, could you please mandemod it to the same numbers that are printed on the card?

I have so many tags and fobs now to practice now, but I miss the manchester code command.

If the prox GUI closes maybe it's loosing comms with PM3.
First of all try   > prox offline to check if th eprogram runs without a PM3 to discard a SW problem.
Then you can try to upgrade to latest firmware (which fixes USB comms problems) following manual instructions:

Note the comments on newest versions as the update procedure has changed.

Thanks everyone for replies, but I still cannot update my PM3 which I bought in October and updated to 20081211 from the original JW firmware.

If anyone has time, please instruct me step by stem what to do. All I need is askdemod and mandemod commands. Nothing else.
